What is the first thing you think of when you imagine a camping chair? Most of us would say a basic, fabric chair that is portable and easy to set up. However, we believe that there is more to an outdoor chair than the basic necessities. At Kamp-Rite, we have designed a variety of chairs that each serve a different purpose. These chairs fall under three categories: Director’s Chairs, Quad Chairs, and Specialty Chairs. Let’s break down some of the features below:
Which chairs are you going to bring on your next camping trip?
Quad Chairs:
When you think of a traditional camping chair you probably think of a quad chair. They are lightweight (ours weigh under 10 lbs.) as well as easy to set up and store away. If you are looking for a versatile chair that can be set up at a soccer game, in your backyard or at a campsite the quad chair is perfect for you.
Director’s Chairs:
Director’s chairs come in a variety of heights and are more sturdy than your traditional quad chair since they have an aluminum base. Weighing anywhere between 14-17 pounds, director’s chairs are slightly more difficult to travel with, but still very portable. Director’s chairs are often the best choice for our tall friends, as they come in a high-back option as well. Another selling point of director’s chairs is their additional accessories and storage space. All of our director’s chairs are designed with an attached side table and/or cooler. Talk about convenience!
Specialty Chairs:
Looking for a unique chair for relaxing in the sun, sharing with a friend or taking on a hike? That’s where specialty chairs come in! A few of our favorite specialty chairs are the Ultra Lite Chair, Soft Arm Lounger and the Folding Rocking Chair. These chairs are all designed for specific uses and offer a different level of comfort and convenience.
When it comes to picking out the perfect chair, it is important to think about what you will primarily be using it for. For example, do you have kids? Maybe the Director’s Chair with Side Table & Cooler is the best for you since it offers additional storage. Need something lightweight and portable? You should think about the Ultra Lite Chair. Looking for extra comfort? The rocking chair or ultra lounge chair are made for kicking back and relaxing.
