I bought this tent as a emergency shelter. I packed it on my bike trip in Italy. It is compact and sturdy. I used the tent for a week this August and i am satisfied with the ease of setup. This is a pretty small tent yet there was enough length to make room for a clothinhg bag and shoes at one end. It would be nice if there were a pocket for glasses inside but i made due. I did find it difficult to get out of but that has more to do with me being older so maybe i will get a cot to go under it.

I purchased this tent four years ago and I am still using it. I have used it “extensively” in the deserts of Southern California as well as the forests of Northern California. Everything about this tent has exceeded my expectations. This tent is absolutely perfect a tent of its class.
– Tent is self-standing
– Use of tent stakes is optional (I never use them)
– “Extremely easy” to setup
– Has a small footprint for rough or difficult terrain
– Very lightweight
– Very well constructed
– Perfect for high/extreme temperatures
– Holds up well in heavy rain
– Rainfly clips to tent quickly and securely
– Can be placed parallel to high winds for minimal impact
– Color blends well to most environments
– Can be moved to new adjacent area quickly without takedown
– Perfect screen height for sitting up (I am 6’2”)
– Large screen area for excellent views
– Screen actually keeps all the bugs out
– Zipper always works
– Easy to clean debris by simply turning tent upside-down while tent is still setup
– If someone else laughs at the tent size – You get the last laugh 🙂
Drawback
– You may never want to purchase any other type of tent
